Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath hoisted the flag for the 8th consecutive time on the 78th Independence Day. With this, a major achievement has been registered in the name of Yogi Adityanath. CM Yogi has become the first Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh to hoist the flag on the occasion of Independence Day for the eighth consecutive time. This historic achievement reflects the unwavering faith and support of the people of Uttar Pradesh towards CM Yogi Adityanath. It is the result of CM Yogi’s continuous efforts for the happiness, prosperity and security of 25 crore people of the state that he got this good fortune. He achieved this feat with the faith and unwavering love of the public. 

On this occasion, describing the construction of a grand temple at Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya as a historic achievement, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Wednesday that with the construction of the temple, the five-century resolution of the Indian people’s faith has been realized. Yogi said that in the Amrit Kaal of Independence, this year the centenary year of the historic Kakori train action of the Indian freedom struggle has begun. The great heroes of the country’s independence will be remembered through various programs throughout the year in the state. Our tricolor is a symbol of India’s pride and glory. From 13 to 15 August, the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign is being organized with full enthusiasm and zeal. This year is historic for India.

On 22 January, by consecrating the child idol of Lord Shri Ramlala in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has realized the five-century resolution of the Indian people’s faith. He said that to make India a developed country by the year 2047, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has connected the countrymen with the resolution of Panch Pran. For the achievement of this resolution of developed India, he has given the mantra to the states to give priority to development and freedom from poverty.

Per capita income doubled in UP

Yogi said that the state government is working with full commitment for the overall development of the state, upliftment of all sections, especially knowledge (poor, youth, farmers, women) without any discrimination. Uttar Pradesh, which was once considered a sick state and a barrier to the development of the country, has today established itself as a state with unlimited potential. Uttar Pradesh has established itself as a revenue surplus state due to effective resource mobilization. Uttar Pradesh has emerged as the second largest economy of the country with a contribution of 9.2 percent in the national GDP. The state government has also succeeded in doubling the per capita income in the last seven years.

CM Yogi said that the state government is working with full commitment for the welfare of the people at the bottom of the society through Antyodaya. It is our priority that every poor, needy and deprived should get the benefit of the government schemes. In the last seven and a half years, more than 56 lakh poor families were given Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 2.62 crore poor people were given individual toilets, and more than 1.86 crore free connections of LPG were given. The work of providing drinking water connections to more than 2.65 crore families and free food grains to 15 crore poor people is going on continuously.

Yogi Adityanath said that better facilities of housing, ration, land lease, schools etc. have been provided to deprived communities like Vantangiya, Musahar, Tharu, Kol etc. These people, who were neglected for 70 years after independence, are today experiencing ease of living by joining the mainstream of development. The state government has sent an amount of more than Rs 70 thousand crore to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries of the schemes through DBT. Uttar Pradesh has been successful in lifting six crore people out of multidimensional poverty due to the effective implementation of welfare schemes.

The Chief Minister said that backward development blocks are being connected with the mainstream of development through aspirational development blocks. The state government has imbibed the resolve of PM Modi through beneficiary-oriented schemes for eligible families. In line with the wishes of the PM, the state government has also resolved to take forward the campaign of Zero Poverty in the country. When the 78th Independence Day is being celebrated in the country, the country’s largest freedom state UP is moving forward step by step with PM Modi’s resolutions of Zero Poverty. Yogi said that by creating a family ID of every family, we will work to reach the target of 100 percent saturation of the schemes of the government. For this, a family ID will be provided to every family. Let 

us tell you that Yogi Adityanath was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh on 19 March 2017. In the 2022 assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, once again the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) again won the majority and Yogi Adityanath took oath as the Chief Minister again on 25 March 2022.
