New Delhi: Politics is being seen between the ruling Aam Aadmi Party and BJP on the issue of reinstatement of bus marshals in Delhi. AAP and BJP MLAs reached LG regarding this issue. Delhi Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj targeted BJP for going back on its word on reinstatement of former bus marshals in Delhi. During this, a picture of Saurabh Bhardwaj is going viral on social media. In this picture, Saurabh is seen holding the feet of BJP MLA Vijendra Gupta. Aam Aadmi Party has also tweeted about this picture.
Foot holding for bus marshals
Aam Aadmi Party tweeted that it will go to any extent to get the bus marshals reinstated. The tweet further wrote that when BJP MLAs were running away from LG’s residence to get the bus marshals reinstated, Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj held their feet. Aam Aadmi Party wrote that after a tough struggle, BJP MLAs could finally be taken to LG House. Before this, they said that with great difficulty Vijendra Gupta has come with us.
BJP MLAs accused of politics
In this matter, Delhi CM Atishi said that BJP MLAs had sought time to meet me yesterday. We met them and explained to them about the issue (bus marshals) that it comes under service matters under the LG. CM Atishi said that today, BJP’s secret was revealed because our entire cabinet was there. We made it clear that those decisions we need to take, we will take it and BJP should ask LG to take decisions on matters that come under him – BJP is not ready for this. They are doing politics on this issue.
BJP MLAs were not ready: CM Atishi
The CM said that we called an emergency cabinet meeting and the resolution passed by the Delhi Assembly to regularise the bus marshals was signed. Even after coming here, the BJP MLAs were not ready to ask the LG to pass that cabinet note. This is a betrayal of the bus marshals. The work that was to be done by the cabinet to regularise the bus marshals and civil defence volunteers has been done. Now, the BJP has to regularise them and allot them joining letters.
