UP Goods Train Derailed: The number of rail accidents in the country has increased drastically in the last few months. Now, almost every day, some train or goods train is getting derailed in some part of the country. Now a fresh rail accident has taken place in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. Here, a goods train loaded with coal suddenly got derailed near Vrindavan railway station.
It is being told that this accident happened on Wednesday night around 9 o’clock. In the accident, 25 coaches of the goods train derailed and overturned and scattered here and there. Due to which the coal loaded in the coaches also got scattered on the railway track. This goods train loaded with coal was coming from Agra and was going towards Delhi. It is a matter of relief that there is no news of any casualty in this accident.
Railway team arrived after the accident
After getting information about the accident with the goods train, the railway officials and the entire team reached the spot. Railway officials took stock of the situation. After this, the work of removing the coaches of the goods train was started. Repair and restoration work is still going on at the spot. The coaches of the goods train are being removed. Coal is also being collected from the track along with the coaches. Work is being done to clear the path. There were 59 coaches including the engine in the goods train.
Railway traffic affected due to blockage of route
Due to the derailment and scattering of the goods train coaches, the route has been disrupted and the entire railway traffic has been affected. It is said that four railway lines including both the up and down main lines pass from the place where the accident happened. Goods train coaches are lying on both the up and down lines. Thus, the operation of trains on the up and down lines has been stopped. Apart from this, the operation on the third line has also been stopped. However, since the fourth line is clear, trains are moving on it.
Many trains diverted between Mathura-Agra-Delhi
Due to the goods train accident, many trains between Mathura-Agra-Delhi have been affected. Trains are being diverted. Due to which trains are also getting delayed. In such a situation, passengers are also facing problems. The trains that have been diverted include 12622, 12472, 12416, 12912, 12754, 12722, 22942, 12628, 19020, 12156 and many other trains.
It is worth noting that Vrindavan railway station falls in Mathura district. This is a major railway route through which trains go towards the west. It includes parts of Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and UP. It is worth noting that in the month of July-August, one after another rail accidents came to light. Goods trains were seen getting derailed at different places. During this time, passenger trains also became victims of accidents and many people died.
