Batala: A case has come to light in which a teacher was hit and injured by unknown persons at the local Khajuri Gate. In a statement lodged in the city police station in this regard, Amit Kumar, son of Pawan Kumar Wasari, resident of Dharampura Colony, Batala, has written that he works as a private teacher in St. Francis Convent School, Batala and on August 10, after school was over, he was going home on his motorcycle.
Meanwhile, when he reached near the showroom of Sportking at Khajuri Gate, three unknown people on a motorcycle followed him and stopped him and injured him with their weapons. Then they fled. According to other information, ASI Jaspal Singh took action and registered a case against three unknown people under relevant sections in City Police Station.
