Union Minister and MP Jitin Prasad has been injured in a road accident. It is being told that he was on a tour of his parliamentary constituency Pilibhit. In Pilibhit itself, his car collided with another car in the convoy. It is a matter of relief that Jitin Prasad is completely safe in the accident. After the incident, the Union Minister left the crashed car on the road and left for the program in another car.
The incident is reported from Bahrua village on Majhola-Visti road in Pilibhit. The vehicle escorting the convoy suddenly applied brakes, after which Jitin Prasad’s car also applied brakes, but the car behind his car hit the minister’s car from behind. The speed of the vehicle was not high so the accident was not big. The entire convoy stopped in a hurry and Jitin Prasad got out of his car and leaving his car there, sat in another car and left for further journey.
No major damage in the accident
The Union Minister was going to inspect the flood affected areas in Pilibhit. There were many other vehicles in his convoy. However, the collision was not very severe so there was no major damage. The Union Minister also escaped narrowly. Apart from Jitin Prasad, BJP District President Sanjeev Pratap Singh, MLC Sudhir Gupta and Barkheda MLA Pravaktanand were in the car.
Flood like situation in Pilibhit after the rise of Devha river
It is being told that after water was released from Nanak Sagar into the Devha river, flood-like conditions have arisen in Pilibhit. Many villages have submerged in water. The localities Beni Chaudhary and Feelkhana situated on the banks of the river have become islands. People have to take shelter on the roofs of their houses. On Monday and Tuesday, there was chaos everywhere due to the sudden rise in water in the river. Before the people could go to a safe place, their houses were submerged in water. At present, relief and rescue work is being done by the administration.
