Haryana IPS-HPS Transfers: The schedule for the 2024 assembly elections in Haryana has been released. Before the elections, the Haryana government has made a major reshuffle in the police department. IPS-HPS officers have been transferred on a large scale. These officers include officers up to the rank of IG-DIG. Their workload has been changed. Along with this, CP, SP-DCP and DSP have also been transferred.
IPS Rakesh Kumar IG Law and Order
The Haryana government has removed 2003 batch IPS officer Rakesh Kumar from the post of Faridabad Police Commissioner and handed him the charge of IG Law and Order. While 2006 batch IPS officer OP Narwal has been appointed as the new Police Commissioner of Faridabad. Along with this, new SPs have been appointed in 4 districts including Panipat, Kaithal, Kurukshetra and Bhiwani.
Famous IPS Narendra Bijarnia has been made the new SP of Bhiwani. Bijarnia has been the SP of Bhiwani before this as well. Bijarnia was the SP of Bhiwani during the Nuh riots.
