Jind: A case of brutal beating of a student for not coming to school wearing a new dress has come to light in Jind, Haryana. The family has complained about the entire matter to the Block Education Officer of Safidon.
Beating for not wearing new dress: A teacher beat up a class 5 student of a primary school in Jind’s Muana village for not wearing a new dress. The student informed her family about the beating, after which the family complained about the teacher to the Block Education Officer. However, BEO Suresh Malik says that the matter has been resolved with the family by the school principal. While the family says that there has been no conversation between them and neither has anyone come to them nor have they been called.
The girl’s father has passed away: The mother of the victim said that the dress was changed in the school some time ago. Her husband had died about 2 months ago. After the death of her husband, there was no earning member in the family and she too has been ill for a long time and is not in a condition to walk properly. After the death of her husband, the whole family is in deep shock and the financial condition is not good. Meanwhile, the school implemented a new dress and she could not get the new dress stitched on time. In such a situation, her daughter was going to school wearing the old dress. Her daughter was being harassed continuously in the school. For the last four days, her daughter was being beaten in the class for the dress. On the fifth day, the daughter came home and told her everything while crying. After the daughter’s complaint, she sent her brother-in-law’s son to the school and the school administration misbehaved with him too instead of talking to him.
Innocent girl is being harassed: The mother of the victim girl says that the school administration is not ready to understand her helplessness and her daughter is being harassed continuously. The school administration is not even ready to talk about this. In such a situation, she has complained about this to the BEO of Safidon, but no action has been taken from there either. According to the mother of the victim girl, if she does not get justice, then she will also meet SDM Safidon, Deputy Commissioner Jind, Superintendent of Police Jind, District Education Officer and Haryana Education Minister in this matter. Now the question is when will action be taken against the teacher who beat the innocent girl in the name of new dress. After all, when will the arbitrariness of the school be stopped in Haryana.
