Paris Olympics 2024: Indian shooter Manu Bhaker has won the bronze medal in the women’s 10 meter air pistol competition at the Paris Olympics. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami have congratulated Indian shooter Manu Bhaker on winning the medal. CM Yogi said that her victory is an inspiration for countless youth.
CM Yogi posted on social media and wrote- “Hearty congratulations to renowned shooter Manu Bhaker ji, who made Mother India proud by winning the bronze medal in the 10 meter air pistol competition held at Paris Olympics-2024! Her victory is an inspiration for countless youth. May this sequence of victory continue uninterrupted, infinite best wishes for a golden future. Jai Hind!”
At the same time, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami posted and wrote – “Hearty congratulations to Manu Bhaker for winning the bronze medal by performing brilliantly in the 10 meter air pistol competition at the Paris Olympic Games. This is the country’s first medal in the Olympics 2024, I am confident that our players will continue to make the country proud in the upcoming competitions as well. #OlympicGames #Cheer4Bharat”
At the same time, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya wrote on the x – “#ParisOlympics2024 Indian female shooter Manu Bhaker ji won the bronze medal in 10 meter air rifle shooting and hearty congratulations to you for becoming the first female shooter to win a medal in shooting in Indian Olympics history and best wishes for a bright future. This is 22-year-old shooter Manu Bhaker’s first medal in the Olympics and she is the first Indian athlete to win a medal in the Olympic shooting event. Before being eliminated, Manu Bhaker was only 0.1 points behind South Korea’s Kim Yeji, who won the silver medal. After winning the bronze medal, Manu said that she has read the Bhagavad Gita and taking inspiration from it, she was successful in winning the medal.
