Shimla: BJP State General Secretary Bihari Lal Sharma said that the country’s Union Budget 2024-25 was presented by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on 23 July 2024. This budget was the first budget of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s third term, which is a complete and all-encompassing budget in itself. The
country’s Union Budget was based on knowledge in which special attention has been given to the poor, youth, farmers and women power. There is some scheme in this budget for the upliftment of every section.
He said that as per the party’s decision, senior BJP leaders will participate in a press conference and an intellectuals’ conference in all districts regarding the budget. A detailed discussion will also be held on the budget in the conference so that all aspects of the budget reach the public clearly.
All the district presidents will be the program coordinators for this program. Bihari Lal said that the schedule of BJP leaders for this program will be as follows. On August 3, former state president and Lok Sabha MP Suresh Kashyap will be in Solan district and state general secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Sikandar Kumar will be in Una district.
On August 4, BJP state president Dr. Rajiv Bindal will be present in Sirmaur district, Rajya Sabha MP Indu Goswami in Kullu district, media department in-charge and MLA from Naina Devi Randhir Sharma in Hamirpur district, former Assembly Speaker and MLA Vipin Parmar in Chamba district, state spokesperson and MLA Balbir Verma in Kinnaur district.
On August 5, Union leader and former Minister of State Meenakshi Lekhi will be present in Dharamshala in Kangra district and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur in Bilaspur district.
Former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Rawat will participate in this program in Mandi district, the date of which will be decided soon.
He said that through this program, the publicity and details of the budget will be conveyed to the public.
