Waqf Board Amendment Bill 2024: People of the Muslim community across the country are registering their protest against the Waqf Board Amendment Bill 2024 through QR codes issued by various Muslim organizations. On the other hand, Hindu organizations have issued QR codes in support of this bill.
Last Friday, Maulana Khalid Rashid Firangi Mahali, a member of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board, released a QR code at the Islamic Center of India in Lucknow and appealed to the Imams of all mosques and the leaders of the Muslim community to distribute this QR code to people outside the mosques and through social media so that as many people as possible can register their protest. Today is the last day to register your protest.
Meanwhile, Hindu organizations issued QR codes in support of the bill and announced the support of the people of the Hindu community. Hindu organizations installed QR codes at various places in support of the bill. Today, thousands of people from the Hindu community scanned the QR codes installed in the Ganesh pandals of Burhanpur district and supported the Waqf Bill Amendment.
What did Muslim religious leaders say on the QR code issued by Hindu organizations?
Regarding the Waqf Board supported QR code by Hindu organizations, today many Muslim religious leaders and organizations said that we will protest this bill against us. In Lucknow, Muslim religious leaders and people of the Muslim community said that this is our issue, it is our Waqf property, the bill that will be passed will be passed against us, what does the Hindu community have to do with it? Why are they supporting it through QR code? A case is going on against us and we will openly oppose it. We are confident that our point will reach JPC through QR code.
