Ambala Cantt: Yoga Federation today started the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Center by passing through the water filled at its office Lal Kothi Housing Board Ambala Cantonment.
Giving more information, Pradhan Rajinder Vij said that this center was to be inaugurated today by SDM Ambala Cantt Shri Satendra Shivach but due to heavy rains and water logging all around in the Housing Board Colony, the program had to be postponed and in a very simple manner, both the doctors nominated in the center were formally given charge of the center by wearing flower garlands so that from today all the facilities of physiotherapy of the center can be availed by the general public.
Federation Secretary Ashwini Jain informed that Dr Nikhil Kumar and Dr Swati Sharma have started providing their services at the Physiotherapy Centre which patients can avail from today.
Various physiotherapy services will be provided to people here at very low cost. Various damaged organs will be treated here through physiotherapy by both the doctors with the help of new and modern machines. This facility will be made available from 9 am to 1 pm and from 5 pm to 7 pm.
Working President Sunita Arora said that earlier in February, Yoga Federation in collaboration with AYUSH had opened an Ayurvedic dispensary and Swasth Wellness Center in the same office. A doctor from AYUSH department and three Ayurvedic doctors of Yoga Federation are providing free services since February. In which 150 to 200 married people are taking advantage of the free facility of this hospital on OPD days.
It is worth mentioning that in this health welfare center, patients are being provided consultation and Ayurvedic medicines for free. Under Panchkarma, people are also treated with massage, steam bath, Shirodhara, Jal Niti and leech method in this wellness center.
On this occasion Yoga Federation executive members, Vice President Neeraj Jain, Naresh Bhardwaj, Sunita Arora, Kamalpreet Kaur, Ashwini Jain, Lokesh Dutt, Rajesh, Neeru Aggarwal, Rimpy, and BJP leaders Satpal Dhal, Rimpy Thukral and Nandi Aggarwal were present.
