Nothing just launched the Nothing Ear (open), the company’s first open wearable stereo (OWS) earbuds globally, after teasers. The Ear (open) uses Nothing’s Open Sound Technology, which creates a more immersive audio experience while maintaining users’ awareness of their surroundings, said the company.
These feature custom patent-pending diaphragm, titanium coating, ultra-light driver and stepped design. The custom shape reduces distortion and enhances low frequencies, while the titanium coating reproduces crisp high notes. The ear hook features a nickel-titanium wire that makes it both flexible and resilient.
The automatic Bass Enhance algorithm optimises low frequencies for a richer bass experience. The headset features ChatGPT integration similar to other earbuds, and feature built-in Clear Voice Technology that ensures crystal-clear calls, even in challenging environments.
It uses AI-enhanced processing, which has been trained on over 28 million noise scenarios, said the company. It promises up to 30 hours of total playback or up to 24 hours of talk time. With a charge of 10 minutes, it promises 2 hours of playback.
