In Haryana’s Sirsa district, the Naib Singh Saini government has suspended the service of mobile internet and sending multiple messages simultaneously. Mobile internet will remain banned here till Thursday, August 8.
The Haryana government order said that there is a possibility of tension, stress, agitation, damage to public and private property and disturbance of public peace and harmony in Sirsa district.
According to the order, there is a clear possibility of disruption of public utilities, damage to public property and facilities and disturbance of public law and order in district Sirsa due to misuse of internet services through dissemination of inflammatory content and false rumours.
