Panchkula: Congress leader and son of former Union Railway Minister Pawan Bansal, Manish Bansal has congratulated shooter Manu Bhaker and shooter Sarabjot Singh on winning bronze medals in the 10 meter air pistol mixed event at the Paris Olympics. Manish Bansal said that both the players winning medals is a matter of great pride for the country. He said that the youth should turn their attention towards sports. Sports create a sense of social attachment, team spirit and self-confidence in the youth and also keep them away from addiction. To make India healthy, he demanded the participation of every citizen, especially the youth and educational institutions, to convert these into comprehensive campaigns. Manish Bansal said that it is important for all educational institutions to focus on developing sports culture in children from a very young age. Making sports a compulsory subject in schools and colleges is the best way to promote sports culture.
