Tisha Kumar, daughter of actor-producer Krishan Kumar, has passed away at the age of 20. Cousin of T-Series CEO Bhushan Kumar, Tisha breathed her last on July 18. She was battling cancer for the last few years. According to the information, Tisha’s cancer treatment was going on in Germany. She breathed her last there. Tisha was going to celebrate her 21st birthday after two months.
T-Series released a statement
India’s largest music label and film production company T-Series released an official statement on Tisha’s demise. The company’s spokesperson said in the statement, “Tisha Kumar, daughter of Krishna Kumar, passed away yesterday after a long battle with an illness. This is a very difficult time for our family and we humbly request that the family’s privacy be respected.”
Who was Tisha Kumar?
People will surely remember T-Series founder Gulshan Kumar’s younger brother, actor Krishan Kumar. He worked in only 5 films, but his film ‘Bewafa Sanam’ released in 1995 was a huge hit and its songs became very popular. ‘Achha Sila Diya Tune Mere Pyar Ka’ was a song from this film, in which Krishan Kumar was there.
Tisha Kumar was the daughter of Krishna Kumar and his wife Tanya Singh. Tanya herself was an actor and singer. She made her acting debut with Krishna Kumar in the film ‘Aaja Meri Jaan’ (1993). Her song ‘Woh Beete Din’ became very popular in the early 2000s. Her father Ajit Singh was a composer and her sister Natasha Singh was also an actress. Krishna Kumar also looks after the work of T-Series and Gulshan Kumar’s son Bhushan Kumar was Tisha’s cousin.
Not much information is available about Tisha, born on 6 September 2003. But she was often seen at the screening of T-Series films. On 30 November 2023, she was seen at the screening of Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna starrer film ‘Animal’. She was seen posing for the paparazzi at this event.
