Juhi Chawla had talked about her mother’s death in Bollywood’s ‘Encounters with the Paranormal’ in a part of Roshmila Bhattacharya’s book ‘Spooked’. The actress revealed that in her childhood she used to have dreams about her living mother’s death. The actress was only 10 years old then.
She would have fallen from the building or died in a fire
Juhi had said, ‘I loved my mother very much. Many nights I used to have nightmares and in those nightmares I used to see her dying. She used to fall from a tall building or die in a fire and I used to wake up in a panic. My hands and feet used to get cold and I used to be drenched in sweat. But I used to breathe only when I saw my mother safe and sound.’
In an interview with ‘Hindustan Times’, the actress told that, ‘We had reached Prague and the next day was Karan Johar’s birthday, so my mother and I bought a gift for her. The next morning, before I went to shoot, she went out for a walk and never came back. It was very painful because we had reached there just a day before and three days later, when she became a victim of an accident, we were bringing her back in a coffin. It was a shattering incident for me.’
Juhi was busy shooting for ‘Duplicate’
Juhi Chawla’s mother passed away in the year 1998. At that time, the actress was shooting for her film ‘Duplicate’. Her mother was also with her during the shooting. However, one day Mona Chawla became a victim of a road accident in Prague. With this, she said goodbye to the world.
