Important JEE Exam Dates:

  • Session 2: April 1 to 15, 2024 (Registration open till March 2)

JEE Mains 2024 Calendar

Eligibility:

  • Candidates must have passed class 12th or equivalent examination in 2022 or 2023 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
  • There is no age limit for appearing in JEE Mains.

Application Process:

  • The application process for Session 2 is open till March 2, 2024. You can apply online at the official website: https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/

Exam Pattern:

  • The exam will be conducted in two sessions: Paper 1 for Engineering and Paper 2 for Architecture and Planning.
  • Both papers will be computer-based tests (CBTs).
  • Paper 1 will consist of three sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each section will have 25 questions (carrying 4 marks each) of Multiple Choice (MCQ) type and 10 questions (carrying 5 marks each) of Numerical Answer Type (NAT).
  • Paper 2 will consist of two sections: Mathematics and Drawing. The Mathematics section will be similar to Paper 1, while the Drawing section will have 20 questions (carrying 5 marks each) of objective type.
