Millie Bobby Brown

Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown and her husband Jake Bongiovi, son of rock legend Jon Bon Jovi, celebrated their love at an intimate ceremony in Italy’s Villa Cetinale recently. Here’s a look at their special moments.

“Forever and always, your wife,” the 20-year-old actress captioned the Instagram carousel on Wednesday. Brown dazzled in a white lace Oscar de la Renta gown designed by Galia Lahav. It featured chic lace straps and a corseted bodice, which cascaded into a flowing fishtail skirt. She completed her bridal look with a long, delicate tulle veil adorned with intricate lace detailing. Bongiovi, on the other hand, looked dapper in a classic white tuxedo jacket paired with a black bow tie.

Matthew Modine, known for his role as “papa” to Brown’s Eleven and as a key antagonist in Stranger Things, officiated the ceremony. Earlier this year, Modine revealed in an interview that he had written the vows for Brown and Bongiovi, explaining that he was chosen for this special role due to the ‘counsel’ that he has given to her over the course of knowing her.

According to UK media reports, Brown’s parents, Kelly and Robert, were in attendance along with Bongiovi’s parents, Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Bongiovi. In one of the pictures, the couple is seen strolling through the picturesque Villa Cetinale, with the sunlight kissing Brown’s face, giving her a radiant glow.

Bon Jovi confirmed the news of his son’s marriage to Brown on May 28. “They’re great. They’re absolutely fantastic. It was a very small family wedding, and the bride looked gorgeous, and Jake is happy as can be,” he said. The couple announced their engagement last year.

The couple were all smiles during a photoshoot conducted by wedding photographer Sandra von Riekhoff. “A relatively bijou collection of friends and family and pulled together with expert level & ultra inspired event design,” wrote Riekhoff alongside a picture.

It seems that Brown playfully swapped her gown for a chic white satin mini dress with off-shoulder sleeves later during the celebrations. She also borrowed Bongiovi’s tux as they danced the night away at the reception. On the work front, Brown will next share the screen with Chris Pratt in Russo Brothers’ upcoming sci-fi film The Electric State.
