New Delhi: A shocking case of misbehavior with a female crew member of Air India has come to light in a London hotel. An unknown person entered the hotel room and attacked the sleeping female crew member. Hearing the woman’s scream, her colleagues staying in the nearby rooms ran, after which the attacker started running away. The colleagues chased and caught the attacker. The incident took place earlier this week. It is being told that the female crew member has been injured and she was also admitted to the hospital. Currently, she has returned to India and is being given counseling.

Confirming the incident, an Air India spokesperson said, ‘We are deeply saddened by this illegal incident of intrusion into a big hotel and assault on a crew member. This hotel is operated by a big international hotel chain. One of our crew members has been affected by this incident. We are providing all possible assistance to our colleague and his team, including counseling. Air India is investigating the matter thoroughly in collaboration with the local police so that the culprit gets the harshest punishment. Also, we are working with the hotel management to ensure that such incidents do not happen again in the future.

The airline has also requested to respect the privacy of the people involved in the incident. The incident took place after midnight at the Radisson Hotel in London Heathrow. Crew members of several Air India flights were staying at this hotel that night. A source said that the female crew member was sleeping in her room when at around 1.30 am an unknown person entered her room and attacked her. Terrified, she screamed for help. The attacker attacked her with a clothes hanger and dragged her on the floor. She was trying to escape.
