Priyanka Bishnoi RAS Death: SDM Priyanka Bishnoi of Jodhpur, Rajasthan, died on Thursday after 15 days of treatment at Ahmedabad’s SIMS Hospital. Priyanka Bishnoi had undergone a uterus operation at Jodhpur’s Vasundhara Hospital about 20 days ago, after which her health deteriorated. After this, she was taken to Ahmedabad’s SIMS Hospital.
Priyanka Bishnoi’s family members had accused the doctors of Vasundhara Hospital of negligence in treatment. 33-year-old Priyanka Bishnoi was a 2016 batch RAS officer. It is being told that Priyanka Bishnoi had reached the hospital due to pain in her stomach, where the doctors told her that she had a lump in her uterus and advised her to undergo surgery.
Priyanka’s health deteriorated after the operation
After this, she got her operation done at Vasundhara Hospital in Jodhpur. When Priyanka’s condition deteriorated after the operation, her family members accused the doctors of Vasundhara Hospital of negligence. The family members allege that the hospital was negligent in the treatment.
Priyanka’s father-in-law had demanded an inquiry from the collector. The family members alleged that Priyanka was given excessive anesthesia during treatment, due to which her condition deteriorated. After the complaint, Jodhpur District Collector Gaurav Agarwal had asked the Principal of the Medical College to form a committee and investigate. He also ordered to submit the report in three days. Principal Dr. Bharti Saraswat said that an inquiry committee has been formed. It is being told that today the committee can submit its report to the collector.
Who was Priyanka Bishnoi?
Priyanka Bishnoi was originally from Bikaner. Priyanka was a RAS officer of the 2016 batch. Priyanka Bishnoi was posted in Dungarpur, Churu, Vijaynagar during her job. In the month of August itself, she joined the post of Jodhpur SDM. Priyanka Bishnoi’s in-laws are in Nokha, Bikaner. Her father Rishpal Bishnoi is a lawyer. Her husband Vikram Singh is an excise inspector in Phalodi.
Priyanka Bishnoi was also honored for her commendable work on 15 August. After Priyanka’s death, there is a wave of mourning in the family and the Bishnoi community. After Priyanka Bishnoi’s death, the National President of Bishnoi community Devendra Budia has demanded a CBI inquiry from the Chief Minister.
