Maharashtra Ironmen felicitated by Handball Association of Maharashtra ahead of the League in an inspiring meet with 300 budding handball athletes from Pune
Pune, June 3, 2023: Maharashtra Ironmen, who are gearing up to compete in the first ever season of the Premier Handball League, were felicitated by Handball Association Maharashtra in a motivating meet where the team also brought joy and inspiration to Pune’s close to 300 aspiring handball athletes on Saturday.
Owned by the Punit Balan Group (PBG), the Maharahstra Ironmen team, along with their coaches, were welcomed in a special Maharashtrian traditional ceremony and felicitated by Mr, Rajaram Raut, Secretary of Handball Association Maharashtra and Mr. Rupesh More, Vice President of Handball Association Maharashtra. The event proved to be an incredible opportunity for the young handball players to interact with well-renowned national as well as international handball athletes who shared their knowledge of the sport and experiences with these young players to learn from.
The PB Group is committed to promoting and developing the sport in Maharashtra and India so that the nation can be introduced to this fast Olympic Sports as never before.

Aiming for a successful campaign the team also sought the blessings of Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati ahead of the Premier Handball League to be played at the Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium in Jaipur, Rajasthan, from June 8-25, 2023.
