Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee has announced the date of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2025. To appear in the exam, candidates can apply from 24 August through the official website gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The last date to apply is 26 September 2024. At the same time, you can register till 7 October with late fee. Let us know when the exam will be conducted.
GATE 2025 exam will be conducted from 1 February to 16 February 2025. According to the official notification released, candidates who are currently studying in the third or higher year of any undergraduate degree program or who have completed any government-approved degree program in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Science/Commerce/Arts/Humanities can apply for the GATE exam.

- Visit the official website gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
- Click on the registration link given on the home page.
- Now register by entering the details and fill the form.
- Upload educational documents and submit.
These are the necessary documents
- Passport size photographs
- Scanned copy of signature
- Category Certificate (if applicable)
- Valid Identity Proof
- PwD Certificate (if applicable)
Application Fees
The GATE exam 2025 fee for female/SC/ST and differently abled candidates is Rs 900, while for other candidates including foreign nationals, the application fee is Rs 1,800. Female/SC/ST and differently abled candidates who submit the application fee after the due date will have to pay Rs 1,400, while other applicants will have to pay Rs 2,300.
Candidates should keep in mind that they should upload the documents in the format prescribed by the institute. Also, read the notification issued before registering. Only the application made as per the rules will be valid otherwise the registration form will be cancelled.
