Ganeshotsav begins from the Chaturthi date of Bhadrapada Shukla Paksha. Lord Ganesha is worshipped till Chaturdashi date. The idol of Shri Ganesha is installed on Chaturthi date and immersed on Chaturdashi date. These nine days are called Ganesh Navratri. It is believed that by immersing the idol, the Lord again reaches Mount Kailash. The glory of immersion is more than installation. Infinite auspicious results can be obtained on this day. Therefore, this day is also called Anant Chaturdashi.
Do these special remedies at the time of immersion
Take a Bhojpatra or yellow paper at the time of Ganesh Visarjan. Also take Ashtagandha ink or a new red ink pen. Make a Swastika at the top of the Bhojpatra or yellow paper. After this, write ‘Om Gan Ganpataye Namah’ below the Swastika. Then write all your problems one by one in sequence.
