Demonti Colony

‘Dmonti Colony’ which came out in Tamil a while ago was a good success. The audience still hasn’t forgotten that movie. Thus ‘Demonti Colony 2’ was born. Directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, the film hit the theaters on August 15. Released on August 23 in Telugu. Arul Nidhi, Priyabhavani Shankar in lead roles, this movie is streaming on Zee 5 from today. Also available in Telugu.

Debbie (Priya Bhavani Shankar) loves Sam (Sarjano Khalid). He is infected with a disease and wants to live, after recovering from that disease he commits suicide. She did not understand why he had taken such a decision. So she turns to a religious teacher named ‘Daushi’. Says she wants to talk to Sam’s spirit. Sam’s father also helps her in this matter.

‘Daushi’ has a weapon that controls ghosts. So he decides to use it to help her. Saying that Sam’s soul is trapped in another world, he sends her soul there. There another ghost connects to her. Realizing this, Daushi immediately calls back her soul. But that ghost already enters the field.

Raghu (Arul Nidhi) and Srinivasan (Arul Nidhi) are twin brothers. Both were the sons of the rich Amritalingam. Amritalingam will write 25 percent of his 2,500 crore property to Raghu and 70 percent to Srinivasan. He will write the remaining 5 percent to his second wife’s daughter Aishwarya. But Raghu, who does not want more property to go to Srinivasan, gets angry. Srinivasan, who has already met with an accident, is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Chennai.

Srinivasan’s treating doctor, Debbie’s father. When Raghu meets him, Debbi..the daushi she has sheltered is there. Raghu asks him to kill Srinivasan, intending to get the property only for himself. Daushi says that Raghu will also die if he does that. He explains the reason for that. He says that if he wants to survive, he has to save Srinivasan from the clutches of the ghost.

Debbie, Raghu, and Daushi find out that Srinivas is dying, and that a book in the library is the cause of his friend’s death. Readers of the book will know that he is dying on June 6th under suspicious circumstances. What do they do then? What is the book about? Will they be able to save Srinivasan? That is the rest of the story.

On the one hand, the rush of the ghost .. on the one hand the magic tricks of the priest .. on the other hand the search required to bind the ghost .. like this the story runs interestingly from all sides. The tension rises after the main characters arrive in DeMonti’s house. The bat attack scenes are scary. The screenplay done by the director with full understanding is impressive. The content seems perfect.

Harish Kannan’s photography is impressive. Sam CS’s background music makes the story stronger. Kumaresh’s editing is also okay. While some scenes may be confusing to the general audience, they will make sense with a little thought. This film can be described as a scary ghost story without the scary make-up. Horror movie lovers will love this movie.
