How to Check UGC NET Result 2024
The National Testing Agency (NTA) usually conducts the UGC NET exam twice a year – in June and December. The results for the June 2023 exam were declared on July 25, 2023, and the results for the December 2023 exam are expected to be declared by January 17, 2024.

- Calculate your expected score: If you took the UGC NET December 2023 exam, you can try using online score calculators to get an estimate of your score based on the answer key released by the NTA. However, these are just estimates, and the actual results may vary.
- Prepare for the next steps: If you qualify for the UGC NET exam, you will be eligible for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or Lectureship (NET) positions in Indian universities and colleges. You can start preparing for the interview process, which is conducted by the respective universities or colleges.
Once the results are announced, you can follow these steps to download your UGC NET December 2023 scorecard:
- Visit the official UGC NET website (ugcnet.nta.nic.in).
- Click on the “UGC NET December 2023 Result” link.
- Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth.
- Click on the “Download Scorecard” button.
Your scorecard will contain your overall score, sectional scores, percentile rank, and cut-off scores for JRF and NET. You can use this information to apply for JRF or NET positions at different universities and colleges.
