In such a situation, people are once again showing trust in the government telecom company. There are long queues of consumers at BSNL customer service centers to buy new SIM or to port. Due to the expensive recharges of private companies, 1.30 lakh consumers of Madhya Pradesh have joined BSNL in the last 15 days.
Getting the sim of the whole family ported
A consumer at TT Nagar BSNL office in Bhopal said, “Recharges of private companies have increased by more than 25 percent. In such a situation, the whole family has to spend 1000-1200 rupees every month for recharge. On the other hand, BSNL recharge is about 40 percent cheaper than private companies. In such a situation, we have come to port the SIM of the whole family to BSNL.” At the same time, another consumer said, “He was using BSNL SIM from the beginning, but in between, due to network problems, he had to take SIM of private companies. Now its network has become better in MP, so he is returning back to BSNL.”
199 rupees for 30 days talk time, 2 GB data free per day
While the recharge of private companies is Rs 349 for 28 days, BSNL is providing the same service for 30 days for Rs 199. It allows unlimited calls and 2 GB data per day for 30 days. For 84 days of private companies, 2 GB data per day and unlimited calls have to be paid Rs 859. But BSNL is providing the same services for 105 days for Rs 666. Apart from this, other recharge vouchers of BSNL are also much cheaper than private companies.
SIM is free, 1.30 lakh new customers added in last 15 days
In the last 15 days, 30 thousand such consumers in MP, who were earlier connected with other telecom companies, have ported their SIM to BSNL. At the same time, 1 lakh new consumers also bought BSNL SIM. GM MS Dhakad of BSNL TT Nagar Head Office said, “BSNL has been synonymous with the trust of consumers since the beginning. In the middle, due to network problems, people were turning to other companies, but now BSNL is providing high speed data. Network problems have also improved. Due to which about 8 to 10 thousand new consumers are joining every day in MP. BSNL is giving free SIM to its new consumers. No charge is being taken for this. ”
In this way you can port your SIM to BSNL from home
To port the SIM of private companies to BSNL, first you have to send an SMS to 1900 and request to port the mobile number. For this, you have to write ‘PORT’ in your SMS and after a space write your mobile number and send it. After this, you have to submit the necessary documents including Aadhar card, photo, biometric at the customer support center of BSNL. There the consumer will be given a new SIM. After this, a unique code will be sent to that SIM. With the help of which you will be able to activate your new SIM.
