In Jaunpur, the daughter of a BJP leader was kidnapped by miscreants. She had left for school at around 7 am on Friday morning. Then three masked miscreants riding a Scorpio kidnapped her. After about nine hours, they threw her near Tarav village located on Azamgarh bypass in Cholapur police station area of Varanasi and fled. The student was soaked in blood. Her clothes were torn. There were marks of cuts from sharp objects at many places on the body. At the same time, the police is denying this theory of the BJP leader.
Baby Saroj of Rehari village of Jalalpur police station area is the president of BJP Mahila Morcha of Thanagaddi Mandal of Machhlishahr Lok Sabha constituency. Her husband Raju Saroj is a senior BJP leader. Baby Saroj told the police in her complaint that her daughter Hrithik Saroj had left for school on Friday morning. Meanwhile, masked miscreants who came in a black Scorpio kidnapped her. About 9 hours later, at 4 pm, the miscreants cut her hands, shoulders and many other places with a blade and threw her in Cholapur, Varanasi. The student asked for a mobile from a shopkeeper there and called her father. On getting the information, father Raju Saroj rushed to Varanasi.
The truth came out in the police investigation.
Baby Saroj accused some people in her complaint and the police registered a case. However, when the case was found to be related to a BJP leader, the administration was in a fix. When the medical examination did not reveal any evidence of rape, everyone heaved a sigh of relief. The police completely rejected the theory of the BJP leader’s kidnapping. SP Ajaypal Sharma said that Rithika had left on her own after being angry with her family members.
