Neelam Udaybhan Karwariya Death: BJP leader and former MLA Neelam Udaybhan Karwariya, who belonged to an influential political family in Prayagraj, has passed away. She died late night during treatment at a hospital in Hyderabad. Neelam Karwariya was admitted to a hospital in Hyderabad for the last few days for liver transplant. She was put on ventilator last night after her health deteriorated. However, despite ventilator support, she could not be saved.

Neelam Karvariya’s body will reach Prayagraj by air ambulance this evening. The body will be kept for public viewing at her Kalyani Devi residence in Prayagraj today. Her last rites will be performed tomorrow, 28 September at 10 am at Rasulabad Ghat in Prayagraj. Neelam Karvariya has left behind two daughters Samridhi and Sakshi and a son Saksham.

She has been an MLA from Meja seat

Neelam Karvariya was elected MLA from Meja seat of Prayagraj on a BJP ticket in the 2017 assembly elections. In the 2022 elections, she had to face defeat from Samajwadi Party candidate Sandeep Patel. She was very friendly and calm in behavior. Due to her soft-spoken nature, she was quite popular among the public. Due to her husband Udaybhan Karvariya going to jail, Neelam Karvariya entered active politics and contested the assembly elections. She was elected MLA in the very first election of her life.
Neelam Karvariya belonged to a very influential political family of Prayagraj. Her husband Udaybhan Karvariya has also been an MLA twice. Her brother-in-law Kapilmuni Karvariya has been an MP from the Phulpur seat of Prayagraj, while her brother-in-law Surajbhan Karvariya has been a member of the Legislative Council. Neelam Karvariya’s death has caused grief among the family and supporters. A crowd of people has gathered at her mansion to pay tribute and express condolences.

These leaders expressed grief

Many big BJP leaders have expressed grief over the demise of Neelam Karvariya and paid their tributes to her. UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya has expressed condolences by tweeting on social media platform X. Former Union Minister Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi and Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra have also expressed their condolences.
