New Delhi: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, arrested in the money laundering case related to the liquor scam, is in Tihar Jail. There has been a conflict over his health for the last several days. The conflict is being seen between the Aam Aadmi Party and the jail administration. Meanwhile, CM Kejriwal is being accused of deliberately trying to lose weight in Tihar Jail and for this, he is deliberately eating less food. There is also an allegation that Arvind Kejriwal is taking fewer calories with the intention of losing weight.
In this case, the Principal Secretary of the Lieutenant Governor (LG), Ashwini Kumar, has written a letter to the Chief Secretary. In which it is said that Kejriwal is not following the diet chart in the jail. He is taking less calories and due to this he is losing weight. He has mentioned Arvind Kejriwal’s health in the letter that he is deliberately taking less calories so that his weight reduces. In the letter written by the Lieutenant Governor Secretariat to the Chief Secretary, it is said that he is losing weight.
Diet was mentioned in the letter
Referring to the diet sent from 6 June to 13 July, it has been said that he is not following the diet chart. According to the information, in the last few days, CM Kejriwal has also refused to take insulin before eating food. Since Tihar Jail comes under the Delhi Government, the Lieutenant Governor Secretariat has asked the Chief Secretary to make Kejriwal follow the diet chart given to him.
Aam Aadmi Party is making allegations
Just a week ago, Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh had said in a press conference that Kejriwal is not being allowed to come out of Tihar Jail because there might be an attack on him or some conspiracy might be hatched. Sanjay Singh had said that when Kejriwal went to jail on 21st March, his weight was 70 kg, now his weight has reduced by 8.5 kg to 61.5 kg. The reason for this is not known. However, after this, the Tihar Jail administration gave a clarification and denied the allegations of the AAP leaders and said that since he has come to Tihar Jail, he has lost only 2 kg of weight.
