Anil Chaudhary was seen in the commentary box on the second day of the Chennai Test match. He did commentary on Jio Cinema and during this time expressed his opinion on many things. Anil Chaudhary gave a statement on DRS and umpires being neutral. He said,
The game is moving forward with DRS. It has benefited a lot. This is the demand of the modern day game. It has improved the game and it is a very good thing. The umpire’s head should not move, because if he moves his head then he will not be able to see properly. As far as umpires are concerned, everyone is quite neutral. We have so much work to do on the field that sometimes when people clap, then we come to know which batsman has scored 100 or a half-century. I have been umpiring since the days of Doordarshan and radio. From then till now the game has developed a lot and things are moving forward very well.
