Uttar Pradesh, Badaun 27th May, 2022: Hormonal Analyzer Lab has now been established in the Central Pathology Lab running in the Government Medical College. Now there will be other tests including T-3, T-4, B-12. In such a situation, patients coming to the Government Medical College will not have to go out anywhere for hormone test nor will they have to wait for two to three days for the report, because the machine has been installed in the medical college for examination. Simultaneously, investigations have also started.

All the new facilities are being provided to the patients in the Government Medical College located near Gunnaura Bajidpur on Badaun-Ujhani Road. Recently, TB investigation was started in the medical college. At the same time, now the hormonal analyzer has been installed in the Central Pathology Lab of the college. T-3, T-4, TSH, HT, SSH, S-progesterone, S-prolactin, Vitamin B-12, Vitamin D, Troponin I will be tested in the lab. At the same time, the red blood cells will be tested by the erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), this will detect the defect found in the blood cells. Apart from this, other investigations are also being done in the college. The investigations will be under the supervision of HOD Dr. Shravan Bhargava and Assistant Professor Pathology Dr. Sucheta Yadav.


Bareilly will not have to run for investigation
There is no hormone test facility in the district so far. The facility of ELISA test and TrueNat machine test of TB patients at the district level has also started last year itself. However, out of the 20 registered pathology labs, there are eight labs that send tests for hormone samples to labs in Delhi, Lucknow and Gurugram. Some of the private pathology labs in Bareilly have hormone testing facilities. CMO Dr. Pradeep Varshney told that after the start of hormone test in the Government Medical College, it will be easy for the patients to diagnose. Now people will not have to run till Bareilly for hormone test. Private labs will also not have to pay hefty fees in the name of testing. Dialogue

There were many diseases of the patients coming here for treatment, without which the treatment could not have been done in a better way, in such a situation, the patients had to get these tests done from outside the college, but now it will not happen. Hormone testing lab has started in the college. Patients will get benefit of this.
