
Himachal Mahasabha Chandigarh Organizes Successful Cleanliness Drive
Chandigarh, [Date]: Himachal Mahasabha Chandigarh, a registered organization, conducted a cleanliness drive in Sector 36 market on Sunday morning, from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. The event, which lasted for approximately three hours, saw enthusiastic participation from members of the Mahasabha.
The cleanliness drive was led by Prithvi Singh Prajapati, President of Himachal Mahasabha Chandigarh, along with Senior Deputy Mayor Jasvir Singh Banti, and President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Advocate Arvind Modgil. Other prominent members, including ML Rana, KL Deol, Manohar Lal Dhiman, Bhagirath Sharma, Sachin Raizada, Ramesh Sohar, Sanjeev Kumar, and Desraj Chaudhary, also actively participated in the event.
The drive aimed to clean the entire sector, including the market and park areas. The event concluded with a thanksgiving ceremony, where Advocate Arvind Modgil hosted a refreshment session for all participants. Prithvi Singh Prajapati expressed gratitude to all members for their cooperation and support.
The organization also announced its upcoming events, including the release of a new calendar on April 6, marking the beginning of the new Vikram Samvat year, and the celebration of Himachal Day on April 11.
Following the cleanliness drive, members of the Mahasabha proceeded to the Shiv Prachin Mandir in Sector 40B, Chandigarh, where they participated in a devotional program, including kirtans, bhajans, and a community lunch.
