A new movie, Out Of My Mind OTT release has been set. The film is based on the condition called cerebral palsy and stars Phoebe-Rae Taylor in the lead role. In the film, Melody Brooks, a sixth-grader with cerebral palsy, is intelligent and quick-witted, but she lacks the same opportunities since she is wheelchair-dependent and non-verbal. It is based on the Bestselling Novel by Sharon M. Draper. Out Of My Mind is going to be released on Disney+Hotstar on 22nd November 2024.

Plot

As per the streamer, although sixth-grader Melody Brooks, who has cerebral palsy, is bright and clever, she does not get the same opportunities as her peers due to her wheelchair use and also because she is non-verbal. Melody demonstrates that what she has to say matters more than how she says it when a young teacher recognizes her student’s unrealized potential and Melody begins to engage in standard schooling.

Cast and crew

In addition to well-known performers Rosemarie DeWitt, Luke Kirby, Michael Chernus, Courtney Taylor, and Judith Light, the movie stars Phoebe-Rae Taylor as Melody, a newbie. Melody’s inner voice is portrayed by Jennifer Aniston.

Participant Films, LLC, Big Beach LLC, and EveryWhere Studios LLC are the producers. Michael B. Clark, Dan Angel, Robert Kessel, and Academy Award nominee Peter Saraf produce the movie, which is directed by Amber Sealey from a script that Daniel Stiepleman adapted.

As per the synopsis, “When a young educator notices her student’s untapped potential and Melody starts to participate in mainstream education, Melody shows that what she has to say is more important than how she says it.”
