Mithun Chakraborty will be awarded the ‘Dada Saheb Phalke Award’ this year. Union Minister of Railways, Information and Broadcasting, Electronics and IT Ashwini Vaishnav has shared this information on Twitter i.e. X. The actor will be given this award during the 70th National Film Awards ceremony.
He tweeted on social media and wrote that veteran actor Mithun Da is being honored with this prestigious award for his remarkable cinematic journey and amazing contribution to Indian cinema.

He wrote, ‘Mithun Da’s amazing cinematic journey inspires generations! I am proud to announce that the Dadasaheb Phalke Selection Jury has decided to award the great actor Mithun Chakraborty ji for his outstanding contribution to Indian cinema.’
The honour will be given at the 70th National Film Awards ceremony
