Prayagraj. Half a dozen recruitments of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) will have to wait till next year. On the one hand, the commission is busy preparing for big examinations like PCS-2024 preliminary in October and Review Officer (RO) / Assistant Review Officer (ARO) in December. On the other hand, many recruitments are stuck in the matter of amendment of rules and equivalent qualification.
No information has been shared regarding new recruitments in the revised calendar of the commission. In such a situation, new recruitments are expected to be included in the commission’s calendar for the year 2025. Many recruitments are stuck due to lack of coordination between the commission and the government.
These include recruitments like Assistant Professor in Government Colleges, Block Education Officer, Lecturer in Government Inter College, LT Grade and Combined State Engineering Services. Government approval is awaited in respect of the examination scheme and syllabus of the State Engineering Services Examination.
PCS-J recruitment came in 2022
On the other hand, law candidates are waiting for the PCS-J recruitment. The PCS-J recruitment came in 2022. It is clear that now there is hope from the commission’s calendar for the year 2025. Right now the PCS-2024 preliminary examination and RO/ARO examination are a big challenge before the commission.
In such a situation, the commission’s full attention is on these two exams. There is one month left for the PCS-Preliminary Exam. Prashant Pandey, media in-charge of the Competitive Student Struggle Committee, said that LT grade recruitment has not come for six years and Block Education Officer recruitment has not come for five years. Lakhs of students are becoming overage while waiting for recruitment. It has been demanded that the disputes be resolved and the recruitment advertisement should be issued soon.
