Popular YouTuber and influencer Ranveer Allahbadia has become a victim of a cyber attack. Due to this, two of his YouTube channels have been hacked and the hackers changed the name of the channels to Tesla and Trump. The videos on both his channels have been deleted and YouTube has removed these channels for now.
The hacker used a deceptive livestream (videos that misinform people), which featured an AI-generated avatar of Elon Musk. In this livestream, the hackers asked viewers to invest in cryptocurrency and also made a fake promise of double returns.
Hackers were playing videos of cryptocurrency investment
This is not the first case of a YouTube channel or social media account being hacked. Recently, the OpenAI newsroom’s X account was also hacked and people were being asked to invest in cryptocurrency.
The AI avatar on Ranveer Allahbadia’s channel instructed viewers to scan a QR code and invest in Bitcoin or Ethereum through a suspicious website.
Hackers asked users to invest through Elonweb.net. This type of fraud is called Bitcoin doubling scam. Cyber criminals targeting popular YouTube channels use this to trap people.
YouTube has removed both the channels of Ranveer Allahbadia. Earlier, when searching for this channel, YouTube was showing a message which said that this channel has been removed due to policy violation. Now, when searching for this channel, it is showing that this page is not available. Sorry for this. Try searching something else.

In this case, Ranveer has posted on his Instagram account. While posting the story, he has asked whether this is the end of his YouTube career. Apart from this, he wrote, ‘Celebrating the hacking of my two main channels with my favorite food.’ However, he has not officially given any information about the recovery of the channels.
