
Haryana: The Roadways department has geared up to make the journey of women comfortable to tie Rakhi on the wrists of their brothers. For this, preparations have been completed by the Kurukshetra Roadways Depot, while the crowd of passengers has started increasing a day before Raksha Bandhan.
Orders issued by the department
More than 15 employees have been deployed by the depot at the new bus stand, old bus stand, Birla Mandir and Pehowa bus stand. These employees will include six inspectors and seven sub-inspectors along with many other employees. Orders have been issued by the department to ensure that women do not face any kind of problem during travel. It is being
told that the festival of Rakshabandhan is being celebrated on 19 August, due to which children up to 15 years will also be able to travel free in the bus along with women on Rakhi. According to the Roadways officials, women will be able to travel free from 18 August i.e. today from 12 noon to 19 August 12 midnight. Women will not have to pay any kind of fee for traveling in ordinary buses of Roadways.
