Friday was a day of road accidents and traffic jams. As the sun rose, a truck loaded with sand with 14 tyres overturned on the road near the divide of the city’s posh Sector 7/8 at 6 am due to the tyres getting stuck in the mud. Luckily, the driver Deepak saved his life by jumping off the truck before it overturned. He informed his owner about the accident, after which a crane had to be called to straighten the truck by evening.
In the evening, the rain once again created trouble for the drivers in Sector 20. As soon as the rain started and the power went off, a long jam occurred as soon as the traffic lights stopped working under the flyover. People in the jam had to sweat to get out in the rain.
At night, a car lost control and overturned in front of Bhanu village on NH 7 Panchkula Yamunanagar road. People took the driver out of the car and took him to the hospital. It is worth mentioning that on Thursday morning, a private school bus suddenly slipped and overturned in a field on the road of village Kanauli on the same road. At the time of the accident, there were 10 children in the bus. Out of which 3 children were admitted to the hospital.
