Meanwhile, a big news of robbery has come to light in the money exchange company Paul Merchant located on Kotkapura Road. At 5:30 pm, 3 robbers came with their faces covered with cloth and 2 of them entered Paul Merchant. The robbers started demanding cash from the employees.
When the money changer’s employee refused to give cash, the robber threatened to shoot him and snatched the keys of the safe. During this, the accused ran away with 2 lakh 23 thousand rupees. As soon as this information was received, there was panic among the nearby shopkeepers. Police Captain Bagha Purana immediately informed Dalbir Singh and police station in-charge Jaswinder Singh about this. DSP and police station in-charge reached the spot with their police team and took information about the entire incident and the robbers are being searched through CCTV footage.
