He also congratulated Team India for how this team was successful in registering a win against Great Britain with 10 players. He admitted that the morale of the Indian team must have fallen after the defeat against Germany in the semi-finals. But PM Modi praised Team India and said that forgetting the semi-final defeat in just 24 hours and winning the bronze medal is a special achievement in itself. The whole country is proud of this victory and Narendra Modi congratulated the Indian hockey team on winning the medal.
