Mohali:  Mohali Court on Tuesday issued a bailable warrant against Punjabi singer and actor Gippy Grewal. The court of Judicial Magistrate First Class Shweta Das of Mohali Court had sent a notice to the complainant in the case Rupinder Singh alias Gippy Grewal to testify, but Gippy Grewal was not appearing in the court for the last three hearings, due to which instructions were given to present him with a bailable warrant and a security of five thousand rupees. The court also said that if Gippy Grewal does not appear on the next date, then a non-bailable warrant will be issued against him. The next hearing of the case is on August 20.

Gippy Grewal is in Canada

According to the information, a warrant was issued against Gippy Grewal by the court on July 4 and he was ordered to appear in court on July 10. But the bailiff presented a report in the court that Gippy Grewal has been in Canada for the last several months. In such a situation, the court believed that Gippy Grewal is the complainant in the case and his testimony is necessary. Therefore, it is necessary for him to appear physically in the court.
