Chandigarh: BJP national executive member and Himachal co-incharge Sanjay Tandon inaugurated the reconstruction of the ancient Baba Bedka Nath Samadhi Shiv Mandir located in Sector-24 of the city. Sanjay Tandon started the construction work amidst Vedic chanting and blowing of conches. Shiv devotees present on the occasion took a pledge that the construction work of the temple will be completed soon. 

On reaching the temple construction program, the Brahmin welcomed him by applying tilak with Vedic mantras and giving flowers, garlands and angavastra. He said that only by building temples, religion is protected and the nation is uplifted. The cooperation of Shiva devotees is necessary in the construction of the temple. He called upon the Shiva devotees to cooperate in the construction of the temple. Devotees should cooperate with Shiva devotees in the construction of the Lord Shiva temple, the worshipable god of all, because the construction of a grand temple will enhance the beauty of the sector and will also facilitate religious events. On this occasion, District President Satpal Verma, Regional Councilor Saurabh Joshi, Mandal President Manmohan Garg, Manu Dubey, Deepa Dubey, Sahil Dubey, former MLA Dharamshala Vishal Nehriya, Satish Sarhadi, Hakam Sarhadi, Girvar Sharma and other devotees were present.
