Agra. On Saturday, in the month of Saavan, two young men offered Ganga water at the Taj Mahal. They had brought Ganga water in a water bottle. The young man offered Ganga water at the door of the basement located in the main mausoleum. There are stairs to go from the door to the tombs located in the basement.
Hindu organizations consider Taj Mahal as Shiv Temple Tejo Mahalaya. Many petitions are pending in the court regarding this. Demands to perform aarti and Jalabhishek of Taj Mahal in the month of Saavan, calling it a Hindu temple, have been raised from time to time. Till a few years ago, Shiv Sainiks used to perform aarti of Taj Mahal from the banks of Yamuna on Monday of Saavan.
The woman had arrived with a kanwar
On Monday, Meera Rathore of Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha reached Taj Mahal with Kanwar. Police did not let her go beyond RK Photo Studio barrier. On Saturday morning, two youths reached Taj Mahal. One had a water bottle in his hand and the other was making a video.
Before entering the chamber containing the graves in the main mausoleum, the young man stopped at the door of the crypt. Here he performed Abhishek with Gangajal filled in a bottle. On seeing the young man doing this and another making a video, CISF jawans caught them. After interrogation, both were handed over to the police.
All India Hindu Mahasabha took responsibility
Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha has taken responsibility for this. Vinesh Chaudhary and Shyam of Mahasabha have been caught for offering Gangajal at Taj Mahal. Both of them had reached Mathura with Kanwad on Friday night. They reached Taj Mahal on Saturday morning and offered Gangajal.
Hindu Mahasabha divisional president Manish Pandit and national spokesperson Sanjay Jat said that offering Gangajal at Tejo Mahalaya is the birthright of Hindu Mahasabha. In future also, Abhishek with Kanwad and Gangajal will continue at Tejo Mahalaya.
Carrying water bottle is allowed
Carrying food items in Taj Mahal is prohibited, but there is no restriction on carrying water bottles. The youth took advantage of this. They took Gangajal in water bottles and no one came to know about it.
