50-55 terrorists from Pakistan are active in Jammu

Around 50 to 55 terrorists are active in small groups, which include two-three terrorists and they are working with the support of local people.

Sources say that the Indian Army and other security agencies in Jammu are strengthening their intelligence and anti-terrorism system to deal with infiltration attempts. Now the infiltration by terrorists across the international border in the area is being thoroughly investigated. Sources said that the work of gathering intelligence is also being done strictly, because in this area surrounded by dense forests, special attention has to be paid to the help being received by the local people to the terrorists.

Deployment of additional troops along with 200 armored vehicles

The Indian Army has already sent troops equipped with a fleet of more than 200 armored vehicles to the area, which have been purchased in emergency situations. According to sources, more than 200 special armored vehicles have been deployed in the area to deal with any terrorist attack. Currently, the security forces are patrolling the area in these armored vehicles for operations.
