Yamunanagar: In Yamunanagar, Haryana, the CIA One team has arrested six youths who were going to supply fake currency. Fake currency worth Rs. 12 lakh 75 thousand has also been recovered from their possession.
After interrogating the two youths in Yamunanagar, the team raided Panchkula. Where four accused were caught from an office. Fake currency worth 12 lakhs was recovered from their possession. All the six accused were arrested. A case was registered against them in Chhachhrauli police station. The accused were taken on remand.
The accused were roaming around to sell fake currency.
Gurmeet Singh of CIA One said that his team had received information that two youths were roaming around on a bike to sell fake currency. A team was formed on this information. The team went to Baloli T-Point and caught both the bike riders. They were identified as Arun alias Lucy, resident of Hadoli and Shahrukh, resident of Leda Khadar. Accused Arun already has cases registered against him under various sections including robbery and theft. He is out on bail. Accused Shahrukh was caught with 19 kg of poppy husk and he is also out on bail. Both of them are friends.

After interrogating the accused, it was found that they get the fake currency from Prabhjot, who has an office in Peer Masooli, Panchkula. The team raided the place. Prabhjot, a resident of Gola village in Ambala, Ashok Kumar, a resident of Raipur Rani in Panchkula, Om Singh, a resident of Pipliwala and Rahul, a resident of Salempur Ballia, Patiala, Punjab were arrested from there. Prabhjot used to prepare the fake currency. He has been arrested earlier in a fake currency case. He came out on bail some time back. Now he has started preparing fake currency again. Fake currency worth Rs 12.75 lakh was recovered from them. All the notes were of Rs 200 each. Prabhjot is a ninth pass. He learned to prepare fake currency by watching YouTube. The police team also recovered laptop, paper, printer and ink from his office.
