Jind: The Pillukheda police station has registered a case under sections 316(2), 318(4), 351(2) of the IPC for duping a person of Rs 32 lakh on the pretext of selling land in village Malsari Kheda of the district.

Jeet Singh resident of village Malsari Kheda has said in his complaint to the police that on 26th July he had made an agreement with Praveen resident of Narela Delhi to buy agricultural land measuring 5 Kanal 6 Marla in village Malsari Kheda at the rate of Rs. 55 lakh per acre. Which is recorded on the notary public’s attestation number 196/2024. In the agreement, the advance amount is Rs. 10 lakh, out of which Rs. 5 lakh in cash and Rs. 5 lakh by cheque number 000037, Praveen received it and wrote a receipt. According to the agreement, he could get the registry done in anyone’s name. He got it registered in the name of Swati Garg and also got the stamp and receipt on 29th July. On 30th July, a token was taken for the registry. After this, Praveen brought 4 other persons with him who were armed. He checked all the documents of the registry. He said that before signing the deed, he should first give the amount in cash because according to the collector rate, the registration amount is Rs. 13,91,300/-. Deduct the advance amount and give the remaining amount now. Only then will I sign the registry. Immediately after the registration of the registry, he will take whatever back draft and cheque is in the registry deed. The capital of DD and cheque will be returned in cash. He agreed to this and got Rs. 26,84,000 counted in cash in front of witnesses in the office of Siyaram Bhardwaj Notary Public. CCTV footage of which is also there. After this, Praveen signed the registry deed. But Praveen gave the amount to Amit alias Meeta and his aunt’s son. Then he went to the tehsil office. There, the registry was fed in the computer. Tejpal called Praveen and said that the registry has been fed, now come to the tehsil office. Praveen said that his uncle had a heart attack. He had to run immediately. We will get your registry done in a day or two. Audio recording of which is available. Next day on 31st July Tejpal called Praveen to ask about his uncle’s condition. Praveen said that he is in Mendata hospital and his uncle’s condition is serious. We will get the registry done whenever you say. When they felt cheated and ill-intentioned, four people reached Narela. Krishna resident Hamayupur Rohtak was found there. Tejpal called Praveen but he did not answer. Then he asked Krishna to call Praveen. He talked to Praveen and he clearly refused to get the registry done. He said that leave from here quickly or else I will send my men to kill you. And I will also get a case registered against you for looting the grain. 

The Pillukheda police station has registered a case under sections 316(2), 318(4), 351(2) of the IPC against Praveen, his sons Akash, Krishna, Amit and Amit’s maternal uncle’s son and started investigation.
